6. PetroChina processes crude oil of 570 million barrels, gasoline, diesel and kerosene of totally more than 46 million tons and sells finished oil of more than 51 million tons each year. Its perfect finished oil retail and wholesale network covers every corner of China, taking above 20% market share.
In addition to gasoline, diesel oil and wax oil, PetroChina also supplies lubricating oil, base oil, paraffin, asphalt used in superior highway, and other high-quality oil products.
7. PetroChina is one of China’s chemical product manufacturers and suppliers. It produces more than one hundred kinds of high-quality chemical products applied in fields of light chemical industry, electronics, textile, automobile, architecture, agriculture, pharmaceutical industry, etc. Currently the fine chemical product sees an optimistic market prospect.
Its main affiliated chemical enterprises are located nearby origins of resources and raw materials, thus of more flexibility in production and higher competitive ability in cost.
8. Being the mark of China’s grand west program, west to east gas project is the important part of China’s energy development strategy. It delivers natural gas produced from west China’s Tarim Basin to the advanced east China through 4000 kilometers long pipeline. This is of great significance for PetroChina to transfer its resource advantage to economic advantage and promote its own value.
